The library will collaborate with faculty and staff by supporting literature searches for the following:

• Patient Care Support for UNT Health
• UNTHSC Affiliated Publications (Case report, Narrative Review, etc.)
• Grant Seeking and ongoing HSC research projects
• Curriculum development activities

Digital Scholarship

• Copyright: Copyright education and guidance in Fair Use, Creative Commons Licensing, Public Domain, and Author Rights
• Publishing Support: Lewis Library offers publication support through Read & Publish agreements with several major publishers. These agreements provide discounts or cover article processing charges (APCs) for faculty members. In addition, library staff can assist in identifying reputable journals for your research and help you avoid predatory publishers by providing guidance on trustworthy publishing options.
• UNTHSC Scholar: Global access to our OA repository of 5,000+ items, comprised of HSC dissertations, oral histories and more.
• HSC Fort Worth Data Repository: HSC’s open-access repository for research and scholarly data.
• ORCID: Distinguish yourself in the community of scholars and researchers worldwide

Interlibrary Loans

Need a book or article that isn't available at Lewis Library? Our Interlibrary Loan service can help! We can borrow materials from other libraries and have them delivered to you. Simply submit a request, and we'll take care of the rest. Check out our Interlibrary Loan page for more information.
