Tarrant County Election Office and Voting Information

The Tarrant County Election Office is responsible for conducting voter registration and all federal, state, and county elections. This office also runs certain elections for municipalities, independent school districts and other political subdivisions as contacted with Tarrant County. Cities in Tarrant County include, Arlington, Bedford, Benbrook, Burleson, Colleyville, Crowley, Euless,  Everman, Forest Hill, Fort Worth, Grand Prairie, Grapevine, Haltom City, Haslet, Hurst, Keller, Kennedale, Lake Worth, Mansfield, Newark, North Richland Hills, Pelican Bay, Richland Hills, River Oaks, Saginaw, Southlake, Trophy Club, Watauga, Westworth Village, and White Settlement. Please note that your election office is specific to your address and contact your city for additional information.

Poll Workers 

Poll workers are entrusted with the responsibility of helping ensure the fairness, efficiency, and integrity of elections. Individuals work at the polls on Election Day and during early voting to help ensure that all voters are able to exercise their rights in an organized manner. Citizens that are registered to vote in Tarrant county and do not hold an elected office, can apply to become a paid worker.

Volunteer Deputy Registrar

Volunteer Voter Registrar Deputies help with the election process by registering eligible citizens to vote. Volunteer Registrar Deputies undergo thorough training to familiarize themselves with voter registration procedures and legal requirements. They must be a U.S. citizen, a resident of Texas, and at least 18 years old. Once qualified, Volunteer Registrar Deputies engage in various duties, such as distributing voter registration applications, aiding applicants in completing forms accurately, and accepting completed applications.
